INSPIRED BY __ French cinema, ambiguity and naturalism, the color red

Filmmaker Eric Rohmer was part of the French Nouvelle Vague (i.e., New Wave) Cinema- he made films about human beings not movie characters. He let you in, to observe little slices of life as he saw them (can we talk about the colors and those vignettes!!). A true romantic man ahead of his times... |

Rohmer's work is often described as "subtle, "witty"," delicious", and "enigmatic". |

On a personal note, learning that this man refused to get into cars which he called "immoral polluters" and once wore a false mustache to the premier of one of his movies to disguise himself delighted me so. |
Ambiguity in a sense of being open to more than one interpretation... | ![]() |

i.e. wear your new Luna's with a Tee tucked in or with the Maya blouse and matching Nash blazer. |

The color red is energizing. It excites the emotions and motivates us. It is a strong-willed color that promotes confidence, ambition and determination. Red awakens our physical force. | |
